What it's all about
We are looking for the best story told through an image. There is a timeless saying 'A picture paints a thousand words.' We don't just want a thousand words, we want a short story captured in a single image.
This contest is made possible by Enrico Casarosa from Pixar, who donated his time and talents to inspire DeviantArt's members!
Enrico Casarosa is an Italian artist living in the USA, and has a lot of experience behind him. Before directing La Luna, Enrico worked as a story artist. He has been with Pixar for about ten years, and his work is featured in Cars, Ratatoullie and Up. Previously he was at Blue Sky Studios where he worked on Ice Age. La Luna is Enrico's first foray into directing, and the short is eagerly anticipated worldwide, to be shown in cinemas before Pixar's new feature film, Brave.

In addition to providing us with a fantastic interview, Enrico has donated a sketch of La Luna's main character, Bambino decked out in true DeviantArt style.
The winner will receive the original sketch, signed by Enrico Casarosa! Here's a preview of the sketch Enrico has drawn:
