How To Commission
Please send me a note all the details on what you want to commission. Alternatively, you can send me an e-mail at hardrockangel@hotmail.be .

Please have references that are necessary for the commission at the ready when asking for a commission slot.
I am willing to put a slot on hold, but if I have to put it on hold for more than two weeks due to lack of references or payment, I will cancel the commission, refund what I was paid and open up the slot again for other buyers.

Terms of Service

Payment:
I take payment in advance, meaning I start work after having received the payment in full. If the sum of the payment is above $100, I am willing to discuss the option of paying half in advance, half upon completion. I take payment via PayPal or the commission-widget only.
The prices listed below are not negotiable, sorry.

Permission & Reposting:
By commissioning me, you allow me to post the finished work on deviantART, Furaffinity and other places. Exceptions are possible, but only if discussed beforehand.
You as the commissioner have the right to repost it on FA,  but it must be linked and credited back to me.
Please do not repost it outside of FA without telling me. Do not repost it on deviantART, please, as their upload-policy is different from FA's policy.

Work Process - Drawings
When working on a commission I will show the initial sketch and the line-art before completing the piece.
If alterations need to be made, I prefer you tell me this once I've shown you the sketch.
If the entire pose needs to be redone or you if you want a different, this will counts as a re-sketch and an extra fee will be applied.

Work Process - Pixels
When working on a pixel-commission, I will always send over the static image before I animate the icon, if animation was included in the commission-request.

If anything needs changing, I prefer you tell me when I send over the static image, as after the animating is done, I will only change mistakes I may have made during the process of animating.

The reason for this rule is because animating a piece can be a very time-consuming process and if one detail needs to be changed, it needs to be done on every single frame of the animation.

Refunds
If you need a refund for whatever reason, then you must request it before I've started your commission.
If I've already started, then I will give you a partial refund based on how far along I am.
Refunds are not given for completed pieces. If you have any concerns about the image, please voice them before the commission is finished.

However, in the event that I, the artist, cancel the commission, for whatever reason there may be, you will get a full refund.
This is regardless of the work already done.

Hi there! I was wondering what a group icon would fall under?
I'm working on opening a new group, and I wanted to batch together some animated pixels as well as an icon, but I want to price it out first (Christmas made me a bit broke, aha).
Thank you for your time! <3

Aaaah, I had just removed the options since it's been a year or so since the last group icon-commission, haha.
Static ones are $12, simple animated ones start at $15, but can cost more depending on how many animations you'd want on the icon.

Oooh geez, sorry xD; If you're not doing them any more,
it's totally okay! I don't want to be the pain in the butt customer, aha ;3;
If you're okay taking them, I'm looking for a simple animated icon, but
your definition of simple and mine might be different. Do you have any examples?

I'm definitely okay taking them! Sorry if that was unclear. :giggle:
A simple animated icon would be an icon like these:

{ Personal Avatar } -- Christmas Angel by Hardrockangel Mobile-Artists -- Icon Commission by Hardrockangel

Basically, something straightforward that doesn't require multiple frames to be drawn from scratch or animations to be timed meticulously. ; u ;

That's okay! Just want to make sure :meow:
Oh, those are super cute! I really love the detail you've put in them.
Well, mine is a space theme (hurrhurr), but it can be simple. If it helps,
I can draw out a quick sketch of what I'm sort of looking for.

Aaah, a sketch would be handy yep! For the animation, would that be animated stars or lettering then?
Apologies if I'm going to be asking a lot of questions, but I always like knowing the details down to the last pixel so that I can pixel the icon exactly as it should be, haha.

Hope this helps: gyazo.com/a60aba3af21a77b8ffaa…
I was thinking a faint glow around the Earth (static), and then the stars and lettering.
Is that too much? And I'm not sure about the border, I wanted to get your opinion on it.
You're not asking too many questions, I actually prefer it when this kind of
communication happens - it's so nice to figure things out, haha :la:

Oooh, I can definitely do that! (Thanks for the sketch too, that really helps me to know how I should pixel it!)

I reckon if only the stars and lettering need to be animated, I could do that for $15. ; u ;
For the background, besides the stars should I try to add in some galaxy swirls or some gradients or should I keep it at just stars?

Though I'm late in replying, I really don't appreciate other people using my page to advertise contests and such.
If I were to be interested in entering, I would have found the contest already. ^^;

I'm therefore hiding this comment, I hope you understand.

Hello!

I'm confirming I saw and received the commission-request. However, I won't be home from the 7th of april until the 15th.
Would it be okay with you for the commission-payment and the commission to be done when I'm back home? I'd feel kinda awkward already taking the payment as I won't be able to work on any art for a week. ^^;

The form was made using google documents. I can't link the tutorial I used as I'm currently on my phone, but if you google "how to create a form on google doc", you should be able to find some pretty helpful info.

Linking my Paypal to deviantart was as simple as filling in my Paypal-address where prompted in the settings on the Earnings page, if I recall correctly. It has to be a verified account, meaning it has to be linked to a bank account, though.

Ooooh, a sketch is possible too, though I'm revamping the commission-sheet at the moment.
I figured since you replied here you were looking for an icon, my bad! ^^;

For a sketch: headshot, or bust or a full-body? I can quickly send you a screenshot of the commission-sheet as it currently is with the prices (it's only lacking the ref-sheet example at the moment). I am updating it so the prices are in dollar and also so the examples on there are a bit newer. ; u ;

Aaah, okay. I use waist-up and bust interchangeably, but the price is $10 or 1000 in points. I've added the slot to my commission-widget on my page, at the top. Could you note me the ref for the character you'd like me to draw?

I think I'll update the commission-sheet already and add the ref-sheet example later. That way, I at least have a more up-to-date sheet up. ; u ;

I wish I could, but I have no money- much less, any money from the U.K. :/ I also would wonder if the points equivalent would be ok, but I only have $2 worth of them (I think that's about 1.61 €) :iconcryforeverplz:

U.K. pays in pounds, I'm from Belgium. :giggle:
As for points, given the recent Premium Content-platform, that can be worked out with paying in points since I can still withdraw it as cash if I gather correctly. I don't think there's much on my pricelist for $2, though. D:

Haha, I converted the prices online, and it said that about 5€ was about $6 in American money.
But it'll be ok, I'll just save up. ^_^

If I gather correctly from the announcements, you can submit things for pay-per-download via the Premium Content-platform.
Prices for a download are set by the artist in points, but generated "income", be it points can be withdrawn as cash.

While it can be a bit tricky for commissions, such as having to submit the avatar for download via Premium Content so the commissioner can buy it with points, I think it can be done.
All the info is here, bu the way.

Will DA be able to recognize which points we get from selling download items or from donation/giving llamas?

I think the ones you get from the Premium Content go into your earnings as those can only be given to you via purchase of what you've submitted to the platform.
Other points can't be withdrawn, I think.

I think so, else people will abuse the system and cash the points from llama trading too ^^
Thanks for all the info. :)
