to be exact.
So ... where to begin.
I've been studying English-Spanish linguistics for a while now but sometimes I wonder "what if I went to an art school".
Though I'd love to go, it terrifies me since I feel like I wouldn't measure up to the talented artists already there.
Plus, I have no idea where I want to go with my art. Illustrations? Digital painting? Concept art?
I seem to flip-flop all the time and I can't even seem to settle on a distinct style that makes my art recognizably mine. One day I want to be able to draw like Mucha, the next day I'm moping over the fact I can't draw like `loish
and the day after I want to be able to draw like `Hellobaby
So ... yes: much flip-flopping.
And I feel like it shows in my art. I want to be able to work away from the anime-ish art I make at the moment, yet whenever I try I end up drawing in the exact same style again: not quite anime, far from realism.
And pixeling is nice, don't get me wrong. But I also feel like i'm stuck on a small canvas and just ... can't do large canvasses. I've tried, I've failed.
Maybe I'm too afraid of trying and consequentially failing. I don't know.
But I just feel like I'm stuck with art at the moment and I just can't seem to figure out where I want to go with my style and technique.
