It's true, I'm turning into a fangirl!

Anyone who follows me on Tumblr may have noticed an increase in Hunger Games- and Korra-related posts, with a dash of Once Upon a Time and Game of Thrones.
First thing to gush about: The Hunger Games!
I'll try to keep it as spoiler-free as I can but
the movie. was. amazing. They captured the feel of the book really well and they even added some scenes to better show how the capitol functions and how the Hunger Games work and asfdafdaga- *flails*
The scene of the reaping was heart-breaking, just as in the book and I have to say that the actress they cast for Effie Trinket also did an amazing job! c:
It all just looked so surreal how she could still repeat "Happy Hunger Games!" over and over whilst the entire district just stood there in dread.
Then the scenes in the Capitol where just how I imagined them. The Capitol itself looked amazing and I also loved how they paid attention to the outfits of the people who lived there. So colourful and strange!
The Hunger Games themselves were also filmed beautifully and the scene with Rue was just ... MY CREYES. Q n Q
They did change some details in the end and some parts were a bit difficult to understand if you hadn't read the book, but overall the movie was top-notch.
And I loved the "THAT IS MAHOGANY"-scene. :'DNext up: KORRA.
I've seen the two episodes that they pre-released and I can't wait until the rest of the show airs!
They've written the main-character in a way that's just awesome (love her attitude!) and Aang and Katara's kids and grand-kids are just awesome.
If you haven't seen the episodes yet:
see them! Now!Last but not least: do you have a contest or a project going on right now that's related to avatars / icons / handhelds?
Or do you have some interesting news I should know about?

As for the hunger games, luckily I still have some free movies passes and live walking distance to a theater and probably will go see it
And I'm sure you'll love the movie, though I'll try to not spoil too much of it for you.
The scene with Rue just made me bawl, though. So sad. D:
And I can't wait either for the second movie to be released. It'll hopefully be as awesome as this one!
Yes, yes, possibly the best book adaptation.
Me too! I'm on my toes, eager to find out the cast of Catching Fire, especially the new tributes, like Finnick Odair. <33 Which book is your favourite?
Recommendations ... Oh! You should definitely read "Goodbye to Berlin" by Christopher Isherwood if you have the time.
It's about the rise of fascism in Germany and how it affects the daily lives of for instance a gay couple, a Jewish family etc. It's a really captivating story.
My favorite book from the series is still the first book. The second book isn't bad, but I have fond memories for the one that got me hooked on the series.
adjgflshjglisjhgljsh;sfh!!!!!!!!
I'm too tired to say anymore. D:
